17-Feb-10 - Sales to Iron Ore Operators Continue

Scantech has continued its success in the minerals industry with some recent sales. Two orders for GEOSCAN-M elemental analysers were received in late 2009 and early 2010 from iron ore companies in South Africa. The analysers will be used for real time, non contact analysis of conveyed iron ore at new mining operations. The compositional information will provide valuable process control capabilities to the plant operators. The success of the analysers in this market has generated enquiries from major resource companies in Brazil, Australia and India.
