In September 2007 Scantech received new orders worth AUD 1.3 million for GEOSCAN On-belt elemental analysers for iron ore and copper ore applications. Both customers have indicated the need for further analysers as operations expand. The improved process control resulting from the analysers are expected to generate savings of a few million dollars per year.
In September 2007 Scantech also received repeat orders valued at over AUD 0.4 million for TBM 200 Series Microwave Moisture Analysers from a large South African minerals company for use in metal accounting applications at multiple mine sites. The real time moisture analysis data will be used to help determine the amount of metal in the ore once the tonnage measurements are corrected for moisture content.
Scantech has continued its success in the minerals...
By using the real time minute-by-minute analysis of an on-line PFNAA analysis with the PALMIX integration software, quarry, plant and process management has been significantly improved.
